Description

The content of the module is based on the perspective of life cycle, allowing students to understand what life cycle is and how to systematically evaluate the impact of new energy power generation on efficiency, cost and environment. In addition to teaching the current challenges of green energy, discounted cash flow method and environmental externalities will also be the focus of this module discussion.

Objective

The objective of this module is to cultivate students' thinking framework from a lifecycle perspective and enable them to assess the carbon reduction potential and economic feasibility of new energy generation or green energy technologies from multiple perspectives. This will contribute to the systematic analysis of issues related to sustainable green energy and environmental economics (such as zero emissions from electric vehicles, tree-planting electricity) in the future.
