Sustainable Production and Consumption module
Description
The module content includes fundamental knowledge of energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions resulting from production and consumption behaviors, enabling students to understand the interconnectedness of production, consumption, and lifestyle with energy issues. It also teaches how to change economic models through the circular economy and lifestyle patterns towards net-zero green living, in order to practice sustainable production and consumption.
Objective
The objective of this module is to educate students about the environmental impact of manufacturing, consumption, and usage through the introduction of process energy usage in production and consumption behaviors. It aims to teach strategies for transitioning towards a circular economy and lifestyle changes to achieve sustainability in production and consumption behaviors. The module anticipates cultivating students' abilities in resource cycling and business design to develop solutions for related issues.
