Description
With the prevalence of electric vehicles, the energy demand in the transportation sector is increasing rapidly, which will significantly impact electricity loads. This course module aims to focus on meeting the energy demands of electric vehicles sustainably, understanding how electric vehicles, as mobile energy carriers, can stabilize energy supply and how to allocate energy demand across various domains through smart energy management.
Objective
The objective of this module is to help students understand the coupling between the transportation and electricity sectors due to the electrification of vehicles and how future electric vehicle load management can assist our country in achieving grid stability goals. This aims to cultivate talent in sustainable transportation energy management.
